People, Philosophy & Purpose
First-Generation Farmers,
Lifelong Learners.
We didn't grow up farming. We chose it — deliberately, gratefully, and with full awareness of how much there was to learn. Nearly a decade in, we're still learning, still growing, and still deeply grateful for every season this land gives us.
Gratefull Gardens is a 25-acre farm in the Willamette Valley. We grow vegetables, herbs, flowers, and plant starts. We raise animals with care and respect. And we share our space with dogs who need a peaceful place to stay while their families are away.
Our approach is simple: do things right, treat every living thing with kindness, and be honest about what we're growing and how we're growing it. We're not certified organic (yet), but we farm as if we are — because we believe in it, not just because it's a label.

Our Philosophy
Love of the Land
We came to farming not as a business venture, but as a calling. The land teaches us patience, humility, and gratitude every single day.
Care for Animals
Every creature on this farm — from the chickens to the boarding dogs — is treated with respect, kindness, and the care they deserve.
Commitment to Community
We believe healthy food should be accessible. We show up at markets, grow for preservation, and share what we have generously.
A Dog-Friendly Farm
Dogs have always been part of farm life here. Our Bed & Biscuit program grew naturally from a love of animals and a perfect setting for them to thrive.

Where Farming Meets
Dog Boarding.
The Bed & Biscuit program wasn't a calculated business decision — it grew out of who we are. Dogs have always been part of life on this farm, and we've always had the space, the fencing, and the heart to care for them well.
When friends started asking if their dogs could stay with us while they traveled, we said yes. And then we said yes again. And again. What started as a favor became something we're genuinely proud of — a boarding experience that feels nothing like a kennel and everything like a farm vacation.
The farm and the dogs are not separate things here. They're part of the same life — one rooted in care, attention, and a deep respect for every living thing that calls this place home.
Learn About Bed & Biscuit"We strive to have a harmonious relationship with the Earth, and leave as little impact as we can, while feeding as many people in the community as we can."
